About me

I am a forth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). I am supervised by Prof. Danny H.K. Tsang in the research group of Computing, Communications and Energy System Optimization (C2E). I received my B.E. degree in Information Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China in June 2014. After that, I got my Master degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA in December 2015.

Research interests

I am generally interested in evaluating and optimizing the performance of Networked systems, by leveraging the following techniques in my research:

  • sequential decision making under uncertainty (e.g., Markov decision process)
  • online algorithms (e.g., online primal-dual framework)
  • machine learning

I am currently working on models and algorithms for the following applications:

  • energy and mobility management of electric vehicle networks and energy systems
